When we approached Dragonchain to integrate their innovative hybrid blockchain into Tatum, we never could have foreseen the exciting turn of events that were to unfold. But the tables have turned! Dragonchain has in fact integrated Tatum into their hybrid blockchain ecosystem, further expanding the flexibility and diversity of their platform, and opening new doors for developers.

Are you confused? Don’t worry, we’ll break it down for you.

Normally, we at Tatum integrate blockchains into our platform to allow developers to build on them using our SDKs and API. This was the idea when we approached Dragonchain.

However, the forward-thinking folks over at Dragonchain saw the potential for a two-way deal with Tatum, and realized that integrating our infrastructure into their platform would also open doors for the developers and enterprises in their ecosystem and help them save considerably on the costs of running nodes for other blockchains.

“We’re really excited for the integration with Tatum. We have always felt the path to adoption is through interoperability and utility. Integrating with Tatum will make it even easier for businesses and their DevOps teams to capitalize on the utility of specific blockchains to address their challenges.” — Joe Roets, Architect and Founder, Dragonchain

So now it’s a win-win for everyone. If you’re already building or planning on building your solution on top of Dragonchain, you will now have even more options for interoperable solutions thanks to the integration of Tatum’s infrastructure into their platform.

And if you’re building on Tatum, you’ll be able to leverage Dragonchain as soon as we’ve finished integrating their blockchain into our platform, which should be done in Q4 2021. Everyone is happy, and everyone benefits, and we’re very excited to be partnering with Dragonchain in such a novel way.

We would also like to inform you that we have already considered the potential danger of creating a cryptographic feedback loop when using Tatum to build on Dragonchain which has in turn integrated Tatum, but our experts have looked into the probability of opening up a black hole or interdimensional rip in the space-time continuum and have assured us the risk is minimal.
